Who are you and why are you here?
Unless you realize that the answer to that question is that you a person created in the image of a loving God destined to live a full and amazingly blessed life then you have not begun to realize how the purpose of your life was meant to be a blessing to all around you. You were created to really make a difference for good in this world. You may be a business owner and feel, “How does what I do affect the lives and destinies of others” Simple friend. Everything about your life and my life is intertwined and working together for an ultimate & eternal purpose. There is weight in what we do when we realize that everything we do will be measured in the light of eternity. When we realize that there are things that will last forever and things that will be temporal and fleeting then the vain pursuits don’t have as much of a grasp on our hearts. We come to awakening.
What really matters in the light of eternity?
Number one is your original and created purpose. You were meant to be great my friend. God himself said to the man he called His Friend, “I will make your name great!” “I will bless you and you shall be a blessing to others.” The covenant of God to Abraham through faith was that of greatness. Even later God said that he was the one who gives us the power to get wealth so that he might establish His covenant in the earth. There is no alternative and no substitute to you fulfilling your God Given purpose in the earth.
Who will you choose to be?
Each of us has to choose who we will be. Will we be the one who tries so desperately to please others that we end up losing our souls. What does it really profit us in the end? Will we be the ones who chase fleeting and vain pursuit to our detriment and the detriment of others? Our lives are but vapors. Or will we be the people who choose to violently pursue the purpose of Almighty god for our lives and by faith lay hold of our destiny? The choice rests in our hands. One thing we can rest assured of is that no matter what may be the current state of our lives or the reflection of our hearts, we were and are made for God’s purpose and destined for greatness.
Be great my friend.
